Hi Kip. The problem is most likely that you have your font set to picas or some other measurement. You can change the default settings for fonts in under Edit > Preferences > Units & Rulers. Alternatively, as a quick fix, you could try typing in "px" next to the number in the font box, or just type in a very large number.
